Leaving A Legacy

I love this quote:

If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are an excellent leader. Dolly Parton

As I head to the wonderful age of 50 (I love round numbers) I have been asking myself this lately

What kind of legacy am I leaving?

Not just for my business, clients, or team...I'm talking about the legacy I leave for my husband, family, and kids too.

Am I inspiring the people around me to dream, learn, do and become more?

Or am I like I was a few years ago: Trapped in the mundane, day-to-day "stuff"?

Do I struggle to be truly present at dinner time, or during staff meetings, because there's always an email to check, a social post to make, a BLOG to write or some tech to sort out?

If this sounds familiar, you're SO not alone!

I've recently realised that it doesn't matter how many patients I have, programs I build, or how much money I make. If my legacy isn't inspiring others to become more aware & empowered, I haven't done my job or left anything behind to be remembered by.

After much deliberation during Covid last year, I threw around this VERY long-seeded plan to create an online education program that puts my life’s knowledge all into one space.

As I am sure you can imagine, I keep suffering from crises’ of confidence, but this legacy of my life’s work, is slowly, but surely, coming into fruition.

If you have any advice, or feedback about what should, or indeed should NOT, be included in a 12 week Fertility School, PLEASE let me know. If you have enrolled in a program before & can tell me what worked well for you, and what didn't, I would be eternally grateful.

The launch date I am aiming for is February 2022, so if you see a stressed out acupuncturist in the library, or rocking somewhere in a corner, please give her a hug and remind her that it is worth it (then send her home). Thankyou!

Petra xx
