Can you feel Autumn gracing us with its presence? The free and expansive nature of Summer is replaced with the internal, contractive nature of Autumn.
This season is about setting limits and creating boundaries and spending time on your internal self. It is about enjoying and benefiting from the labour you put in over Summer.
Self-nourishing and introspection and letting go of what you don't need.
I am looking forward to enjoying the fruits of my labour and sharing my Fertility FoodMap meal planning book with you all. Petra xxx
Create a more fertile life
I have been urged by many patients over the years to create an easy, affordable, balanced, delicious and nutritious eating plan. So I did. Information out there can be so varied and confusing and what some ‘nutrition plans’ lack is an explanation as to why that particular food is good or bad. I am a concerned and passionate health care practitioner, but also a concerned and passionate member of our community.
If we can't procreate, we don't survive as a race. This is why I felt compelled to create a book: to aid in some way towards creating a more fertile life for the community and their children.
Knowledge is power, something we can pass on to those we love...
Petra has finished her book! Simple meal planning with recipes, shopping lists and delicious, nutritious food. The why, what and how to eat consciously to
create a more fertile future. If you know why you are doing something, you are much more likely to do it.
We welcome our new receptionist Kylie to the NNF team.
She is so kind, warm and nurturing, I am sure you will love her. Thank you for being patient and understanding as she learns the ropes.
To cut through some of the confusion, Beni Turkson, our Fertility Nutritionist is offering her time and knowledge free of charge on: Saturday the 6th of May at 1.30pm at the NNF clinic. One hour of information and a chance to ask those questions you might have always wondered. MTHFR, Fertility Superfoods, Pre-conception awareness, PCOS, Endometriosis, miscarriage.
Come prepared with your questions.
